Welcome to Texas State Tubes!

Join us for a Premier Texas Tubing Experience down the San Marcos River! We are located approximately 10 minutes East of San Marcos, 35 minutes South of Austin, 30 minutes North of New Braunfels, and an hour away from San Antonio, and are the closest thing there is to tubing in Austin!!! We are open the first hot Saturday in March to the last Saturday in September.

Pre-paying online is not necessary for our Walk up and Tube option.

We’re a high-quality service, low-cost tubing provider on the San Marcos River!

If you have a group looking for a fun river float, come have a blast tubing down the closest river to Austin that allows recreational tubing. We also provide transportation from Austin with our tubing tours. Book your trip today!

It's Easy to Get Started

Walk up and tube! We have parking at 2024 N Old Bastrop Hwy. We shuttle you from the end back up to your car after the float!

There are some river rules: no glass, no styrofoam, no beer bongs, and no music audible beyond 50 feet.

It's Easy to Get Started

Walk up and tube! We have three parking lots for your convenience. You can park at the beginning or end of the float. We shuttle you back to your starting point either way! Park, float, and ride or park, ride, and float… It’s up to you. The most important thing to remember is to have a blast!

"Paid $18 for a tune and spent 3 great relaxing hours floating down the river. I would recommend hiring a cooler and and float $15 more, but well worth it. It's like a party atmosphere on the river with people drinking and playing music all the way down, very good fun and friendly. Highly recommended - a great way to escape the heat"

"What a great way to disconnect and hang with some friends! Took an earlier trip 11:15 to avoid the mass crowds. It worked- Parking was easy, did not wait on any lines and had plenty of space on the river. $10 for the cooler tube was way worth it."
